Older age and human rights: more participation, less discrimination

Objective: To analyze the life situation and discrimination of older people in Slovakia; the attitudes towards them in various segments of the society; to learn more about the preparedness of the Slovak society for the model of active ageing. Dissemination of research findings will enhance the quality of public discourse about the rights of older people. The acquired knowledge can be used for the preparation and implementation of a strategy of active ageing in the upcoming European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations.
